Pt.10 Honor Second Society Date Concert

"I don't want to go.One of you should take her," I said as I adjusted my tie.I had on a white long sleeve,a red tie, a black vest and black skinny jeans.
"No way dude,"Kevin said,"You're the one that's in love with her."
"i am not!" I rolled up my sleeves.
"Just keep saying that,"Nick said,"Hey Kev, we should go."
"Where're you going?!"
"Bowling with Demi and Selena."They set me up. I bet they planned this from the beginning. I glared at them and grabbed my keys.
"Who cares"I said,"I'm better off going to the concert." I heard them laugh as I went down the stairs.As I drove to _'s, the paranoia sunk in, just like it had on our first date.What if she slams the door in my face.Ohmigosh!What if she thinks I planned this!She's gonna hate me even more than she does now...I parked in her driveway and built up the courage to walk to the door.My hand shook like crazy as I rang the doorbell.Moments later, she opened the door.
"oh...its you,"she said sounding disappointed,"What're you doing here?"
"I...uh..I'm here to...take you to the concert," I said quietly.She looked at me wide-eyed.
"You're joking right?"I shook my head then looked down.
"No...Bex said she couldn't go....so she asked you." She rolled her eyes and mumbled something I couldnt hear.
"Hold on," _ sighed,"Let me get my bag." She closed the door.I walked slowly to my car. She came out and I opened the door for her then got in myself. I sighed then drove to where the concert was being held.
"I figured we'd get ther early so you can meet the band,"I said trying to break the silence.She didn't say anything. I sighed.This is gonna be a long night...
I parked at the backstage exit._ followed me inside.I saw Mike first.
"Michael!" I smiled.
"Joe!," he beamed," You made it!"
"Yup.Hey Mike, this is _.She's a friend of Bex." He shook her hand.
"Nice ti meet you _.The rest of the guys are up ahead." We followed him to the hallway where the dressing rooms are.
"Joe!" Andy exclaimed,"You're here!"
"Yea,I am. This is _.Bex's friend." _ waved shyly. I went down the line introducing everyone.
"Is she the---"
"Shut up,Alex,"I growled.
"Am I the what?" _ asked.
"Nothing!" I put on a black messenger hat and my red Ray Bans.
"We should get to our seats. It gets crowded pretty quickly."
"See you afterwards,"Jay said.
"Am I what?" _ repeated.
"Don't worry about it." Just as we claimed our spots, the arena filled in.
"I've never been front row before,"_ whispered.
"Well then,prepare for the experience of a lifetime.You do know the Honor Roll right?"
"The what?" I smiled,"This should be fun."
"Jo--"
"Shh! Don't call me that," I whispered,"Call me Adam."
"Why?" I looked at her in disbelief.
"You do know who I am right? And where we are."
"Yea but whats that got to do with anytihing?" I leaned in close to her, so I could whisper in her ear.
"well, if the thousands of girls around us find out I'm Joe Jonas we'll get mobbed." I leaned back and looked into her eyes.
"Unless you want to.Get mobbed I mean."
"Um...no thanks...Adam" I smiled and the lights went out. Honor Society started their set off with Full Moon Crazy.
"Hey everybody,I'm Michael Bruno,"Mike said when the song was over,"Are you guys ready to party?!Alex! Drop that beat!" They played a lot of their hits like Dont Close The Book and Two Rebels. Every now and then I would look at _ and see a big smile on her face.It made me happy seeing her happy.
"Okay,for this final song, we want a couple people from the audience to help us,"Andy said,"How bout you two." He pointed to _ and I.
"What?! No way!" _ said quietly.I grabbed her hand.
"Come on,it'll be fun." Security led us onto the stage.The arena went completely dark then a spot came on Mike.
"You were always the girl,"he sang. The crowd went crazy! They continued playing See U In The Dark. I watched as everyone did the Honor Roll with us. I laughed when _ stumbled over a step.All in all the show was amazing.__and I went backstage.
"You planned that!" she screamed. I laughed,"always be prepared to dance when Honor Society is in town."
"aint that the truth," Alex chuckled.
"That was embarassing,"__ mumbled. I laughed again.
"Well...I should get you home," I said.
"we'll see you around,Joe," Mike called after us.
I drove _ home and just like the first date, she lingered in the car.We sat in her driveway just talking.I'm not completely sure how it happened,but we both started leaning in towards each other like we were gonna kiss.Our lips were inches away...when she turned her head and leaned back.The little tease!
"Um...bye Joe,"she blushed,"Thanks for...this."She all but jumped out the car and ran inside.
"Ugh!!!"I groaned,"Why is this so hard?!"We almost kissed.Why did she stop?What's going on in her head?I want to know. I need to know!
